Bio

I am Nate Sanford, a corporate research chef for Sanford's Kitchen.  Sanford's Kitchen is a family business that my mother, father, and self started in our home kitchen.  All of my life I have wanted to own my own business.  To know what it was like, to learn the lessons, to strive for a goal.  I have to tell you, there is nothing like it.  Every day a new problem and what seems like a million solutions... Or so people want to tell you.

My job as a research chef started after getting my associates in culinary management.  A local company needed "new eyes" in developing its products and asked me to help.  Being engaged to the most beautiful girl in the world I wanted to spend "normal" hours with her.  As you know the culinary field and "normal" hours are not synonymous.  How could I say no.  After working for a few months I found myself (and still do) to be one of the luckest people on the face of the earth.  Great woman at home, great job that I love to go to in the morning and pretty good health.  Still the want to start my own business never left my mind.

So Sanford's Kitchen has begun.  We starting slow just introducing our first two products Just Chillin' Salsa, coming in Hot and Medium.  Our friends and family have been such a support and inspiration that we have been nose down pushing forward in one of the worst times to start a business.  Sometimes you just have to take your shot.  We are enjoying the ride, giving the best product we can, and hey, if it doesn't work, it doesn't work.  At least we can say we did it.  No one is going to tell us we can't!
